Just like Drink Your Phone : Drink Prank or Cocktail Prank: Mix and Drink, Tasty Bubble: DIY Boba Tea utilizes gyroscope sensors found in smartphones to imitate the act of drinking. Drinks behave and react to the tilting motion to add to the realistic effect that the app is trying to portray.

The very first iPhone was packed with the latest technologies from responsive touchscreens to gyro sensors that reacted to tilts and movement. The latter was such an impressive feature that apps and games were made to utilize it. The first of those was drink pranks that simulated drinking. Fast forward to today, and Tasty Bubble: DIY Boba Tea is a modern interpretation of a classic title.
The most noticeable change in this prank app compared to its "predecessors" is the updated graphics and smoother animations. There are more than 20 boba tea recipes and a variety of toppings and sinkers to create a truly personalized drink of your own. From there tilt your phone to see that nostalgic ever, this time complete with rather realistic sounds to complete the effect.
Despite its name, the app actually offers more than just boba tea as it also lets you create various cocktails and tropical drinks made from fruits to add to your repertoire. Having said all that, though, there really is much else available in the app. Also, there are ads, and there are plenty of them and can be intrusive at times.
For nostalgia's sake
If you were one of those who enjoy the drink prank apps back in the day, Tasty Bubble: DIY Boba Tea serves up a nice bit of nostalgia, paired with modern updates to a classic title. It looks, sounds, and works better than its predecessor, and it's great. This one is worth trying for some harmless fun and some reminiscing. Recommended.
